This book was a collaborative project with Narin Kim (RISD ‘26).
Did you know that there are 14 distinct wall plug shapes used around the world?
In this project, we chose to playfully dissect the formal qualities of each plug type in a diverse exploration of bookmaking techniques, material, and paper laser cutting.
The electric blue color, embossed cover, and handbound spine provide a minimalistic and refined experience. The half-letter sized cardstock makes it light and easy to hold, while the page-by-page bookbinding style allows it to spread unapologetically over your coffee table.
